Parcel and document delivery in Lagos

It needs to get there. Send someone.

Someone nearby picks it up and drops it off, and hands it to the person you name. Document, package, food or fragile; from an envelope across town to a load that needs a car. Photos at pickup and delivery, on the record.

Price locked before pickup. Held by SendMe when the agent accepts, released to them only after you approve the delivery.

Say what it is, and how big. We send the right person.

Item type tells the agent what they are carrying. Size decides whether it goes on a bike or brings a car.

What it is

Document · Package · Food · Fragile

Document. Papers, envelopes, contracts. Package. Boxes, orders, anything wrapped. Food. Meals and market runs, handled quickly. Fragile. Flagged to the agent before pickup.

Who receives it

A named receiver.

The receiver’s name and phone go on the request. The agent hands over to that person and uploads a photo at delivery. Put the item value on the record too, so a dispute has a number to work from.

“Rider don deliver am” is not a record. This is.

Every parcel run moves through the same four steps in the app, and the agent cannot reach the last one without uploading proof. The pickup photo, the delivery photo and the time of each step sit on your request, with the chat, for a year.

And if something is wrong, you don’t approve. The money stays held while SendMe looks at the record.

What goes in the bag, and what doesn’t.

We carry

Almost anything you’d hand a friend.

  • Documents, keys, cards, phones and small electronics.
  • Food, market runs, clothes, shoes and gifts.
  • Cartons, appliances and suitcases, with a car for large.
  • Fragile things, flagged so the agent knows before pickup.
We don’t

The short list.

  • Anything illegal, hazardous or needing a licence to carry.
  • Parcels that don’t match their description. Agents can decline at pickup.
  • Handover to anyone other than the receiver you named.
  • Cash in hand. Money moves through the wallet, never the agent.

One offer for the run. Locked before pickup.

  • You set one total when you build the request. The agent accepts or counters, and the price locks before anyone moves.
  • When the agent accepts the locked price, SendMe holds it from your wallet and shares the exact addresses.
  • At approval, SendMe’s 20% fee comes out and the agent receives the rest.
  • Tips are optional, up to ₦10,000, added with your rating, and go to the agent in full.

Fair questions.

How do I know it was delivered?

The agent moves the job through Picked up, In transit and Delivered, with photos uploaded at pickup and delivery. Each step lands on your request as it happens. You approve the release after that, not before.

What does it cost?

You set one offer for the run. Agents near the pickup can accept or counter, and the price locks before anything moves. Tips are optional and go to the agent in full.

What is the item value for?

It goes on the request record so the agent knows what they are carrying and so a dispute has a number to work from. Be honest and specific.

Who carries it?

A verified agent near the pickup. Agents already heading toward your drop-off are ranked first. You can pick one by name or leave the request open.

What can't I send?

Anything illegal, hazardous or that needs a licence to carry. Agents can decline a parcel that does not match its description, and they hand over only to the receiver you named.

What if it arrives damaged or late?

Do not approve. Raise a dispute: not received, damaged, late or wrong receiver, with photos and the outcome you want. The money stays held while SendMe resolves it.

Not a rider’s word. A delivery photo.

A verified person picks it up, you watch each step, the receiver you named gets it, and only then does the money leave your hands.
